Outward Bound…

A grey old sunrise with Gerry at Collaroy beach. We’d arrived well before sunrise and it was very dark – possibly something to do with the 100% cloud cover :(.

We’d never shot here before and this was really just the filler before heading off to some nearby waterfalls. They were the main event (or so we hoped). We were here just in case the weather predictions were wrong and it was in fact an epic sunrise. Hmmmm… it wasn’t :(.

Still – it was another chance to shoot one of these outward ocean outflow pipes. Some natural long exposures well before – ahem – “sunrise”…
