There’s a very large wind power farm nearish to my relatives farm. Basically as you drive out this way it’s huge turbines as far as the eye can see.

Probably not quite as impressive looking from up here but from ground level these towers are absolutely massive!

This is actually the pattern the pivot makes as it waters (or doesn’t) various areas in it’s range. Makes for an interesting set of circles when viewed from above. I had to fly this one pretty high to get up high enough to include the whole pivot in frame. It’s one pretty damn big watering system :).

Spent half the day at nearby Naracoorte where we visited this nice little country town. One of the big drawcards in this area is Naracoorte Caves.

The caves are about a 10 minute drive from the town of Naracoorte, and theres a good information centre on site. Here you can view information displays and arrange to visit the various caves. We only had a short window of time so we just opted for the self guided Wet Caves.
