Rising Marbles

Had a lovely pastel sunrise this morning. Shot this image from the step of our caravan

And of course spun up the drone for a higher level view of sunrise at the marbles

Slicing the Boulder

Slicing the Boulder

Slicing the Boulder

NIKON Z 7 + 14.0 mm f/2.4 @ 14 mm, 15 sec at f/2.4, ISO 6400 x 5 Frames

I’d learnt my lesson from my previous shoot with vertical panoramic frames with the 14mm. This time I was using 10 click stops (36˚ increments) instead of 45˚ increments (8 click stops) with the pano rig

What you see here is pretty much the entire horizon to horizon (180˚) span of the milky way viewed vertically

Unfortunately some cloud moving in so I’d better finish up soon…

Snowy Milk

NIKON Z 7 + 14.0 mm f/2.4 @ 14 mm, 15 sec at f/2.4, ISO 6400 x 4 Frames

One of these lovely snowy gums right next to one of the marble shaped boulders. An ideal subject to include into a vertical panoramic composition

Again the Novoflex panorama rails makes this easy with it’s vertical click stops and the camera setup for horizontal captures
