I headed out to Lake Windamere in rural NSW for an overnight shoot organised by the Focus Photography group
Perched
It’s a little over 3 hours drive from Sydney and it rained relentlessly on the drive there so I wasn’t hopeful for our planned sunset that evening nor the sunrise the next morning
Miraculously however the rain held off soon after arriving, though the 100% overcast skies put off all thoughts of a colourful sunset or the promised fog 🙂

We did however get to recce the location. Here’s a seven (7) frame stitched longe exposure panorama (using the 6 stop Lee LittleStopper). When we first arrived this tree had a host of pelicans perched on the various branches, though only two stayed around for some photos…
