8:10PM and time for one last image of the session before the light totally fades (and my parking expires :))

Barangaroo Twilight
by Rodney Campbell on Nov.25, 2021, under Photography
Twilight hits Barangaroo. The cloud was too heavy on the horizon to the west so we didn’t get much colour to speak of. Still it was a pleasant evening and this view from the parkland across the rocks towards the city was nice. I even found some interesting greenery to include in my foreground

Luna
by Rodney Campbell on Nov.24, 2021, under Photography
Since sunset was such a colossal failure, Gerry and I spent the rest of the twilight searching for any redeeming composition
Scouring high and low looking for any gaps through the buildings and trees where we could shoot… well anything really 🙂
Luna
This one from a little earlier with all three of Sydney’s main famous harbourside icons. The Sydney Opera House (SOH), Luna Park and of course the Sydney Harbour Bridge (SHB)

Broken Promises
by Rodney Campbell on Nov.22, 2021, under Photography
Gerry and I made a last minute decision late on a Thursday afternoon to try our luck with sunset. Neither of us was particularly hopeful but you just never know…
Broken Promises
The high whispy clouds looked promising (from home) so there was some chance promises wouldn’t be broken… Alas by the time we’d arrived here at Lavender Bay (a spot neither of us had shot at sunset) the heavy cloud to the west put an end to any high colour. This brief moment of the sun poking through 20 minutes before sunset was the extent of anything
