Along the drive towards Mount Cook is Peter’s Lookout. It’s a great spot to stop along the way. About one third of the way along Lake Pukaki it sits on a rise above the lake
Having checked out this location on google maps before coming to New Zealand I’d planned to take this shot from here. The location affords this fantastic view down along the snaking road with Mount Cook lined up perfectly in the distance
The lake itself is also pretty amazing with this rich milky blue colour
