We were crossing Arthurs Pass and heading towards Hokitika today

We’ve stopped here in Arthurs Pass National Park to do the Devils Punchbowl Walking Track. You walk through lush beech forest to this stunning 131 m waterfall

It’s about a 2km/1hr return walk but be warned there’s quite a bit of vertical climb with a lot of steps

Lake Pearson Sunset

Setup for some shots at sunset over Lake Pearson. This is literally a few metres from the door of our motorhome

Fun fact – along with some sandflies at some locations… there are soooo many ducks in New Zealand. I was literally crowded in here by ducks just resting on the grass on the shoreline
