Top of the World

A full 360˚ panorama taken with the DJI Mini 3 Pro at sunrise. Here I’m located directly above Plaka Castle (look straight down :)) which is located atop the hill at the highest point on the island. This is a fantastic place to come at sunrise or sunset for an epic view. In fact at sunset it’s often pretty packed

Timeless
9:30PM and we’ve just had another magical sunset as seen from the balcony of our accomodation high up in Plaka on the Greek island of Milos. Some star trailing for good measure in the 2 minute long exposure at the tail end of twilight

Edge of Sarakiniko

Edge of Sarakiniko
Louise had yet to see Sarakiniko (I’d been here twice for sunrise already). So I convinced here to come here just before sunset :). Partially (but not entirely) because I had a couple long exposure compositions in mind 🙂
Here’s one that actually worked out ok, shot during twilight (8:50PM). I even got to use my handy Kase Revolution circular magnetic filter set that I’d acquired for travel purposes. Here I’m just using the ND64 (6 stop ND filter)
The Kase Revolution (82mm circular magnetic filters) kit I’ve built up includes a CPL, ND8/0.9 (3 stop ND), ND64 (6 stop ND), ND1000 (10 stop ND) and even a 3 Stop (0.9) Soft GND
The Graduated Neutral Density transition is fixed in the middle of the circle so it only allows having the horizon in the middle of the frame basically. It’s definitely not as flexible as my Kase Armour 100mm rectangular filters. But the whole Revolution kit is MUCH smaller and lighter and much more convenient for travel even with said limitations
