Island Chain

This chain of islands was just off the coastline on my flight. That’s Sarakiniko of the far left and as it turns out the small fishing village of Mandrakia on the far right (tho I didn’t realise it at the time :))

It was just past sunrise at Sarakiniko on the Greek island of Milos so it was time for another flight with the drone. This time I actually flew from Sarakiniko along the coast almost to Mandrakia (where we’d visited a previous day). These were taken along the way. The warm low sunrise tones on the white volcanic rocks, the water colours – just amazing really

A Splash of Colour

Perhaps surprisingly even amongst all this volcanic rock there were some small splashes of vegetation. This largish clump of bright yellow flowers giving me a perfect foreground for this shot right on sunrise
