Windswept
The windswept curves and lines in this soft volcanic rock are quite beautiful. No clouds this morning alas but we did get some nice pastel colours

Curvaceous
I was back at Sarakiniko for another sunrise session. This place is pretty amazing. I decided to spend most of my time on the opposite side of this little river to last time

Stacked
This was from my earlier morning session at Sarakiniko
There was a composition I had pre planned before going there. A long exposure longer focal length shot to include the small island in the background with the curvy windswept rocks in the foreground. I just had to find the right spot to take the shot from and the right foreground to include. Given the focal length I knew I had to focus stack the image to obtain a sharp foreground along with the background
I’m not sure either of these is exactly what I was after but it was a fun thought and practical experiment

Mandrakia
Something like these are the vertical panorama compositions I’d pre-planned and intended to take when I came to Mandrakia. They basically worked out as intended (altho a clear blue sky was probably in my minds eye)

Hump
Classic Milos in twilight. Soft tones, a little haze, simplicity itself
