Plaka and Beyond

Plaka Down
A look down at a small part of Plaka (the main area where most of the restaurants, cafes and boutique shops are) from above
I’d booked this sweet accomodation for the rest of our stay on Milos. As I mentioned previously the edge of Plaka runs along the cliff edge with epic views of the Bay of Milos, Southern Milos, the Aegean sea and sunset. I’d booked a very nice recently renovated modern two level residence situated right on the cliffside. The second storey bedroom had french doors leading out onto a small balcony with pretty excellent views. However the real killer feature is that at ground level it also had this large private veranda built right out to the edge of the cliff with 210˚ plus uninterrupted views. During the day and especially around sunset the views were epic!
Our accomodation is the place slightly to the right of centre of the second image

Plaka
We’ll be staying the rest of our time on the island of Milos in the very quaint little village of Plaka. The village is perched around the highest point of the island with one side of the village set right against the edge of the cliff with epic views overlooking the gulf of Milos. No cars can enter the village because of the narrow stepped laneways between walls and buildings
