Some panorama’s taken from the jetty in the harbour of the old Varenna town. It really is a very picturesque place with all it’s brightly coloured old buildings and villa’s set amongst the green and the mountains

Lake Como

We arrived in Varenna late morning to what was an overcast and misty day but thankfully no rain

After dropping our luggage at the luggage storage at the station we wandered the streets of lovely Varenna. It’s so green here (probably all that rain :))

The view out the window of our apartment (Airbnb) in Milan. We’re heading to Lake Como (Varenna) tomorrow. Alas the weather forecast for the days we are there don’t look good (constant rain :(). I have heard tho that the forecasts for Lake Como can’t be trusted – fingers crossed
