Blue Hour
Our first morning in Milan. I got up early to photograph the Duomo di Milano Cathedral before sunrise
Thankfully our accomodation was conveniently less than 5 minutes walk from the Duomo
The cathedral took nearly six centuries to complete – beginning in 1386, with the final details completed in 1965. It is the third largest church in the world

Having just come from Australia (almost winter) it was a bit of a shock in the bright heat of Abu Dhabi. A massive stark white building surrounded by cool looking water wasn’t helping 🙂

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, from the outside
Constructed between 1994 and 2007, the building complex measures approximately 290 by 420m covering an area of more than 12 hectares
