Oia Domes
Having wandered around the laneways of Oia for a couple of hours we decided we needed a break and some breakfast/brunch
We literally stopped at the first place we could find. We were led through the building (the entrance is on the street side where you can’t see anything) with no idea of what we’d find. Our table was one of only a handful on a balcony on the crater side with an epic view of the Oia blue domes
This is the view from my seat at our table. I’m not sure why you’d line up in a narrow lane for an hour to get a shot of the domes when you could just come here and take photographs at your leisure. I guess you do have to purchase relatively expensive food and drinks but the view was gorgeous and no crowds :). My pancakes were actually very good too so no complaints there either

Blue Domed
Blue domes galore in Oia. I tried visiting the main “instagram” spots before it got too crowded. Even at 7:30AM there were queues but as we weren’t interested in having photographs of ourselves taken with the blue domes in the background we didn’t need to wait

We drove to Oia at the northernmost end of Santorini island early in the morning in an attempt to avoid the crowds
