Tumble
This one almost looks like a single shot with an ultra wide or even slightly fisheye lens
It’s actually the result of DJI’s built-in 9 frame (3 across by 3 down) auto panorama. But in this instance starting with the camera angled a little downward to start with
Thus you end up with more land and less sky. Plus this sort of curved earth look which although it’s really a pano projection “error” I actually like
You get to see the city lights just after sunset better in this one

Singapore Nights
I took a number of 180˚ panoramas from over the water of the Marina Bay. This one was probably my favourite. It’s actually about 10 minutes after sunset so if you zoom in you can see all the building lights are on

Super Trees
A different view of the Supertree Grove to what you’d normally see (from on the ground)
I was keen on photographing the grove from the ground when the evening light show was on. Garden Rhapsody says it runs for about 15 minutes each night at 7:45PM and 8:45PM
Alas my family had booked dinner at the swish Gordon Ramsay joint for 8PM meaning I’d be unable to go down there for either time

All Out To Sea

All Out To Sea
Our room in the Marina Bay Sands was on the 49th floor. Which is almost at the top of the building. The public viewing deck is on the 55th floor and the hotel guest only area with the infinity pool and surrounds is on the 57th floor
I booked a room up high on this side of the building so I’d get access to a wide open balcony. For a potentially once off trip to this location photography was on my mind 🙂
This 180˚ view (taken a few metres out from our room) approximates what we could see from our balcony. Taken about ten minutes before sunset (which sets behind us over the city)
