Coolpix 995 Photos (with and without Lens Converters)

The following are some sample photos taken with the Nikon Coolpix 995 with both the standard lens and also in conjunction with the following lens converters: Nikon FC-E8 (8mm) Fisheye Converter Lens, Nikon WC-E63 (24mm) Wide Angle Converter Lens and Nikon TC-E2 2x Telephoto Converter Lens.

For the following comparison I took photos of the same subject from the exact same location using a tripod. The tripod and camera were setup and a sequence of shots was taken with only the camera settings, zoom settings and lens converters being changed.
In order to make the test repeatable, I used focal lengths on the Nikon Coolpix 995 that are exactly reproducable. The following table lists these focal lengths (not their approximate 35mm equivalent), and how to set the Nikon Coolpix 995 zoom to each of these focal lengths.

focal length how to obtain it
8.2 mm This is the F1 Fisheye 1 setting in the lens menu and also the wide angle end of the standard zoom range.
14.1 mm This is the wide angle end if you switch to the X2 Telephoto 1 setting in the lens menu.
15.1 mm This is the one selected focal length if you switch to the F2 Fisheye 2 setting in the lens menu.
17.6 mm This is the one selected focal length if you switch to the Slide Copy Adptr setting in the lens menu.
19.6 mm This is the wide angle end if you switch to the X3 Telephoto 2 setting in the lens menu.
31.0 mm This is the telephoto end of the standard zoom range.
