Region 4 DVD's will play in Australian DVD players and are generally encoded with our standard PAL video format. Where a DVD is listed as NTSC it will require a player and possibly a TV that can cope with this video format. Region 0 DVD's should play in any DVD player but DVD's from other regions (like Region 1) will only play in a player from that region OR in a multi region (region modified) player. Discs with DTS tracks will require the use of a DTS decoder to play the DTS version of the audio track and for DVD's will also require a DVD player which supports DTS output. All DVD's with a DTS track will also contain at least one additional audio track encoded in Dolby Digital or PCM Stereo for those of you without DTS decoding capability. The DTS CD's however are DTS only.
